Vincenzo Pisano is Associate Professor of Business and Management at the Department of Economics and Business at the University of Catania, where he completed his Ph.D. in Business Economics and Management (2002), and also received the national habilitation to run for a position of full professor. He was Visiting Professor at several American universities, such as Tulane, Texas A&M, and Arizona State University, wherein he was invited to teach some courses in Strategic Management, Small Business & Entrepreneurship, and Organizational Behavior. His research activity is mainly focused on the examination of internationalization with specific regard to entry strategies aimed to access foreign markets, strategic alliances, acquisitions, family business, and the exploitation of social capital.
