Salvo is a PhD Candidate in Marketing at the University of Catania and a Visiting PhD Student at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focuses on digital marketing, with an emphasis on influencer marketing and social media marketing.

My research interests lie within marketing, with a focus on digital marketing and, in particular, influencer marketing and social media marketing. Secondary interests include family-business branding. Methodologically, I favour quantitative, psychometric approaches, with particular reference to Structural Equation Modelling (SEM).
