My academic path originates from an interest in accounting, which led me to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (110/110 cum laude) at the University of Catania, with a thesis entitled "The Impact of the Pandemic on the Budgeting System: Effects on the Role of the Controller?" (Supervisor: Prof. Carmela Rizza).
Subsequently, I obtained a Master's Degree in Business Management – Reporting and Control Curriculum (110/110 cum laude) at the same university, presenting a thesis entitled "The Impact of Digitalization on Management Accounting and on the Role of the Accounting Professional" (Supervisor: Prof. Carmela Rizza; Co-supervisor: Prof. Antonio Leotta).
During my Master's studies, I served as a tutor for the Business Administration course, taught by Prof. Davide Rizzotti, within the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Catania.
I am currently a PhD student in "Economics, Management and Decision Making" at the same Department, under the supervision of Prof. Davide Rizzotti.
In the first year of my PhD, I participated in the "21st European Academic Conference on Internal Audit and Corporate Governance", held at the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Catania, and in the "Accounting in a Changing World" conference, organized by Meditari Accountancy Research and held at the Palazzo della Sapienza of the University of Pisa.
Subsequently, I attended the Research Methodology School, organized by SIDREA and held in Palermo.
During the second year of my PhD, I served as a Tutor Senior for Business Administration for all three first-year courses of the Bachelor’s program.
As part of these teaching activities, I also attended Prof. Davide Rizzotti’s lectures and collaborated in the administration of exams, supporting the examination committee during the sessions.
In January, I participated in the XLI National Conference AIDEA, held at the "Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore" in Milan.
On the same days, I also attended the Doctoral Colloquium, organized by AIDEA at the same University.
