Maria Margherita Lazzara

Since 1997 she has been a researcher at the Economics Faculty of Catania University.

After Law degree, cum laude, at University of Catania, she was awarded in a Ph.d in “Business Law” and specialized in “Civil Procedural disciplines”.

From 2011 she has been professor of “Bankruptcy law and insolvency procedures” on Postgraduate degree course in “Business Management” in the Department of Economics.

From 2022 she teach, also, Elementi di diritto dell’economia e dei mercati, on Degree course in Management delle imprese per l’economia sostenibile  anno

She has been professor of “Tourism Law”, “Protection of rights in civil process”, “Civil Law” and has also lent her teaching skills to Master programmes (Economy and tourism management, 2005 –“Over-indebteness crisis’s management”, 2018 and 2019 - Chief Financial Officer for P.M.I., 2020), Post graduated school (Forensic science, 1999/2009).

She is a member of the International Scientific Committee of “Italian Journal of Tourism law”  and  also of “Rivista delle procedure concorsuali e delle società commerciali”.

She is a member of the Ph.D teaching board in “Economics managment decision”, University of Catania.
